Design 2245 Evrika

This ocean racing yacht was built by the Walter Huisman Shipyard of Vollenhove, Holland. She is constructed of welded aluminum and was launched in 1976.

From the "designer's comments" we find: This 35'-3" DWL ocean racing sloop represents our latest thinking to achieve excellent performance in competition. No interior joiner work has been sacrificed to achieve a lightweight boat. Instead she has a comfortable interior layout.

And from her owner: The boat was conceived and built primarily to be a modern, comfortable cruising boat. The objective has been wonderfully accomplished by the designer and builder.

The racing record of the boat, as evidences by races in Greek waters and the Middle Sea Race has been very good
.

Here are the plans.
